Irish moss, is a type of seaweed, it contains 92 of the 102 minerals the human body is composed of. Each mineral plays its own important role. It has been reported they supply energy to the body, regulate digestion, detoxify the body, Thyroid, Mental/Emotional health and immune support.
INSTRUCTIONs:Take a handful of Irish moss rinse clean, inspect for sand and other sea debris.
1.Soak for 4-24 hours at room temperature. The Irish moss will turn
into a white translucent color, it will take on a slippery, soft texture. The size will double.
2. Drain off the water, rinse clean.
3. Add 1 cup of water and Irish moss to the blender, Cut sea moss in pieces before putting in blender ,blend until smooth and creamy, Add more water or Irish moss depending on texture you prefer.
4.Pour into a mason jar, and refrigerate. Allow up to an hour for thickening.
NOTES: Add to smoothies, and recipes that call for a thickening agent or eat as is.
